Position Summary

This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a broad range of IT projects ensuring consistency with company PMO processes, IT strategy, commitments and goals. Primary projects will be related to software implementation and enhancements as well as the acquisition and integration of new companies purchased.

This position will directly report to the CIO.


Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee company acquisition program projects to ensure consistency in strategy, resources, and meeting critical project deliverables.
  • Ensures that project scope, goals and deliverables are met.
  • Defines project priorities.
  • Works with Resource Managers to effectively allocate resources to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Oversees project budgets.
  • Approves plans and schedules project timelines.
  • Tracks multiple projects and deliverables using company's PPM tools.
  • Comfortable working with offshore resources.
  • Able to manage projects using waterfall, agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Provides direction and support to project teams.
  • Monitors progress of the projects to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Identify, address and resolve project delays and issues.
  • Scoping and estimating potential projects.
  • Defining, sequencing and estimating project tasks.
  • Identifying and quantifying project risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in development and adoption of company PMO standards.



  • Demonstrated prior leadership in planning, directing and administering of work efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a cross functional environment.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to lead through influence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to manage meetings, lead project teams, and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Working knowledge of SOX rules and regulations.
  • Experience leading iterative SDLC projects.
  • Experience leading acquisition related integration projects.


Education and Experience:

  • 5-15 years of IT and business work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a project manager. PMO experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus.
  • PMP certification.


Other Required Skills:

Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of traditional and hybrid project management methodologies. Advanced proficiency in project planning software, and Excel; able to develop complex project schedules and estimates.
